I’m Officially a Prosumer!

Today is a special occassion for me. Although I’ve been posting for quite some time, I’ve never felt comfortable calling myself a “prosumer” because I never had my own blog. Besides the fact that I procrastinated in setting up this blog, I also wanted to be sure I was at a stage in my life where I could accept being a prosumer. After coming to grips with the fact that my blog is going to eventually contribute to the destruction of old media (so I’m told), I’m ready to step up and prosume. To celebrate the occassion, I’m considering ordering some MiniCards from Moo.com listing my title as “Prosumer” (sorry VistaPrint, you’re just too Web 1.0 for me).

What can you expect at The Drama 2.0 Show? The same type of commentary that you’ve come to expect: critical (and sometimes downright skeptical) analysis of what’s going on at the Web 2.0 punchbowl, occassionally spiked with a touch of sarcasm and wit. It probably won’t be as entertaining as Justin.tv, but I’m still trying to adapt to my new life as a prosumer, so please bear with me. Let the show begin.

Yay! Drama 2.0 has a blog! I’m looking forward to reading undiluted Web 2.0 Anti Kool Aid.

One thing — it’d be cool if your feeds had the full story but understandable if that’s a little Web 2.0 for you :P

If I provided full feeds the eyeballs I receive on this new blog would decrease. I’m secretly hoping that one day Silicon Valley Bank will start accepting eyeball deposits in which case I’d have given up lots of money!
